The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers towards the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency reported it's alarmed with regard to the higher number of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your substantial sassa amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office devoted to service the area regularly. The service point created for intervention ordeals a superior inflow of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it difficult with the Workplace to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more sources to help the servicing of all shoppers and enhance entry to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
